Bio

Betty has been a High School Teacher for 12 years. She has finished the "Athens University of Economics and Business".
She is studying and practicing Tai Chi since 2001, Thai Yoga Massage, Osteothai, Chi Nei Chang, CranioSacral Therapy.
She has been assisting Takis Oikonomou since 2012. She is a Vipassana meditator.

She did her first Thai Massage workshop in 2003 and a full Thai beginners course in 2008 in India.
Since then she has attended a great number of Thai Yoga Massage, Osteothai, Chi Nei Chang, CranioSacral Therapy courses in Greece, Thailand, Germany, and Laos. Her teachers Takis Oikonomou, David Lutt, Arno Hermit, Kalin Alalyana Kelly, Jack Chaiya, Kuni, Om, Rosemary Wallas, Upledger Institute, Pitchet. She has been assisting Takis Oikonomou (Krishnataki) since 2012 in different parts of the world.
Betty is a Vipassana meditator since 2008.

She offers continuous education through Yin Yoga Teacher Training Course and teaches "Basic Thai Yoga Massage and the Yin" Training.

She started practicing Yoga in 2004 in Thailand where she did her first Hatha Kriya Yoga training with Marcell Crushar with whom she studied for 5 years. She teaches Creative Vinyasa Flow, combining dance, tai - chi and free organic movement.

At 2011 she did her TTC at Yin Yoga with her teacher and friend Biff MIthoefer in the U.S.A and one year later in France. Since then they are working together in the Yin Yoga TTC's in Greece.

Betty was part of the 200 hours TTC team of Yoga House Studio in Athens for 2 years.

She has practiced contemporary dance for 6 years, continues her research through Dance Therapy Schools, " Psychotherapy -Gestalt Institute of San Francisco", "End of life care".
She feels inspired by many philosophies and cultures, especially Buddhism, Taoism and the Indignant Traditions. She has worked with indignant people in Canada, Uganda, and Burundi.
She uses her drum, guitar, and voice to connect with the clear rhythm of the heart.
She spent four years cooperating with amazing people in Uganda and Burundi in which they created a “You Create Your Own Reality Program, through Creative Arts and Fairytales"  for the children and the youth of the area.

She wishes to live and teach in a way that empowers peace.
